Where are you located?

Lake County, IL, about an hour north of Chicago, and 45 minutes south of Milwaukee.

At what age are puppies ready to go to their new homes?

No earlier than 12 weeks.

Can I come visit puppies?

We do not allow visitation when we have puppies under the age of 10 weeks. This policy is in the best interest of the puppies, to keep them safe from communicable diseases. The one exception is for potential buyers to pick out their puppy, but this must be approved and scheduled after the completion of the Somerled Inquiry Form.

How much is a Somerled Shetland Sheepdog?

Family companions range from $1000-$3000 for older retired dogs, and $1850 for puppies. All family companions are sold with an AKC Limited Registration, and a spay/neuter contract. Showing and breeding animals are by private treaty. Prices are listed in the description for each dog on our "Available" page.

Can you ship a dog to me?

We only sell dogs to owners able to pick up their dogs in person. We may be able to arrange to meet you somewhere, although additional fees may apply. For those from out of town, we’re only 45 minutes away from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
